Heat oven to 325°F.

Beat margarine, sugar and almond extract until well blended.

Add flour and salt; mix until well blended.

Stir in oats and almonds.
Step 5
Using level measuring tablespoonfuls, shape dough into crescents.
Step 6
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 14 to 17 minutes or until bottoms are light golden brown.
Step 7
Remove to wire rack.
Step 8
Sift additional powdered sugar generously over warm cookies.
Step 9
Cool completely.
Step 10
Store tightly covered.
